The Duravit C.1 single-lever shower mixer has a clear, cylindrical design and integrates harmoniously into the shower area. The horizontally aligned fitting body appears compact and well-balanced, while the control unit positioned on the side allows intuitive operation. Thanks to the lateral arrangement, the movement area in the shower remains unobstructed, so the lever does not get in the way and remains comfortably within reach.

The surface-mounted installation brings all functions visibly to the outside and ensures uncomplicated installation. At the same time, the design language remains understated, allowing the fitting to be integrated into both minimalist and classic bathroom concepts. The model is available in either chrome or matte black.

Technology and everyday use

Temperature control is handled by a durable ceramic mixing system, which enables uniform and precise adjustment. The lever operates smoothly and responds reliably to every movement. With a flow rate of 12.5 l/min at 3 bar, the fitting provides a constant water output. An integrated backflow preventer in the hose connection prevents water from flowing back into the pipes and thus helps to ensure water quality. At the same time, the ingress of contaminated water from the shower hose into the system is reduced. The housing remains cool even with hot water, preventing unpleasant contact.

The surface is designed for daily use and is easy to clean. The fitting is intended for surface-mounted installation, features DN15 connections with S-connections and is suitable for operation with an instantaneous water heater. A manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years underlines the durable design and provides additional security in everyday use.
