The scald protection on the thermostat control is preset at 38° C. This is a safety precaution, especially important for small children who also use the shower. If you want to choose a higher temperature, you must press the safety button so that the handle can be turned further.

If there is a supply fluctuation in the water supply, the thermostat valve will automatically shut off the water flow. This prevents you from scalding yourself with hot water.
